Chronic Pain

I deal with chronic pain every day.  Please remember to be kind to those people who's disabilities you cannot see.  They just might be dealing with pain.  Society has gotten so that if your not in a wheelchair, or using cane, you can't possibly be disabled.  That irritates me.  I didn't ask for my health issues, and I deal with them the best I can.

Always remember don't judge.

Taco Casserole...

1pkg nacho cheese doritos

1 1b ground beef ( or 2 depending on how many you are making it for)

1 can cream of mushroom soup

18oz pkg grated cheddar cheese

2 c shredded lettuce

2 c diced tomatoes

-------------------------------------------------------------

Fry beef, add taco seasoning and soup.  Don't add extra liquid.  Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. Place Doritos in bottom and sprinkle with half of the cheese.  (i used rolling pin to flatten the doritos)

Place in oven at 350 degrees.  Remove when cheese is melted throughly, and then add new cheese.  I served tomatoes and lettuce separtely in bowls on table, with extra crushed doritos, you can also serve with sour cream.

Everyone liked this one, so I'll make it again.  Thanks Rita!

I am going to start adding recipes.  Would love to have some more easy casserole recipes so if you have any feel free to send me them.

======================================

Easy Pork Chop Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can water
  • 1 cup mushrooms, diced
  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the mushroom soup, onion soup mix, water and mushrooms.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the pork chops on each side. Transfer chops to a 9x9 inch baking dish, and cover with the mushroom soup mixture.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours, or until internal pork temperature reaches 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

Nuttin Crafty Today....

Didn't get at anything crafty today.  But got some new ideas to maybe work on.  So, we'll see how things progress over the weekend.

Kinda gloomy and damp all day.  Went to my step son's cross country meet.  Had lunch with my friend, and that's about all for today.

Hope your day was a good day

Heather
